Gourmet Gadgets To Spice Up Your Kitchen Routine

There was a time when slaving away in the kitchen was seen as a chore, a low-down rotten hindrance that involved boiling veg until it was an opaque liquid and rendering meats usable as suitcase material. These days, of course, it’s never been cooler to be a kitchen junkie, as proven by these technological treats for marvelous mealtimes. Here’s a handful of the most striking domestic doohickeys you can find anywhere.

Kitchen Gadgets 01 Smart Fridge

Samsung’s Smart Fridge

The idea of a Smart Fridge has been a bit of a running joke in tech circles but it looks like Korean screen-peddlers Samsung have cracked the code with their latest invention, the Samsung Family Hub Refrigerator. Kitted out with a 21.5inch full HD LCD screen, it displays calendarsm, photos, notes, recipes, and can stream television from its Smart TV cousin. It also has high quality cameras which display the contents inside. It basically does everything but cook and eat the food itself. This is the fridge, no the family member, that you never knew your life was missing. Watch the video below to see it in action.

Panasonic Countertop Induction Oven

Panasonic are also in the game to win with this incredible home induction oven that represents a huge step forward in domestic cookware. Induction heating works without flame or red hot surfaces, instead creating an electromagnetic field that efficiently heats its specially treated cooking vessels, but without any preheating and using a lot less energy in the process.

As its clever name suggests, this gadget takes a stick of butter and converts it into spray in seconds. Tomorrow's open missal from Blackberry reminds me more of a fake letter that appeared in Chinese newspaper, The Southern Metropolis Daily a couple of months ago, and then found it's way around China via the micro-blogging Weibo.

NASA Game Changing 3D Printing success really matters

Last night I tweeted a link to the Press Release from NASA regarding their success with  testing a rocket engine injector made through additive manufacturing, or as we say these days,  3D printing. What surprised me was the reaction I got via re-Tweets, messages and people just saying 'wow!'. I think what caught people's attention was the potential highlighted by the success in NASA's test, the potential for manufacturing and for business.
