When the first iPad was announced, it was in springtime, and everyone was still kind of broke from the Christmas season. Since 2012, Apple have moved the iPad announcements and availability to October; so just in time for Santa to drop them off. With that in mind, rumours are already circulating that Apple will be announcing the new iPad on October 16 with a “laid-back event”.
That’s probably compared to the U2-related blow-out for the iPhone 6 and Apple Watch last month, but this time we can probably expect to get our eyes on the new iPad Air, a new version of OS X Yosemite, and the tech-world’s worst-kept secret, the retina display version of the iMacs.
Looks like an iChristmas to us.
