While we were all looking forward to adding the latest “must-have” wearable tech to our Christmas lists, apparently we won’t be getting our hands (and eyes) on the Google Glass until closer to summer 2015. While there are versions currently available to buy online – albeit at extortionate prices, i.e. the price you pay for being one of the first in the world to own one – people were expecting a more consumer-friendly price to arrive once the Glass hit the markets good and proper.
This may be down to the rumours that app developers for the Glass are losing interest, with Twitter no longer supporting the device, and others that had apps in the making now pulling the plug altogether.
We guess we’ll have to wait and see until we get an official release date from Google themselves, but for now, things aren’t looking so rose-tinted.
