We’ve all been there, where you want to listen to your headphones, but it’s raining or its super cold out, so you’ve got the hood of your hoodie up, but that makes things super awkward. Either you have to wire your headphones up and under your hoodie and slowly develop claustrophobia (“The wires! The headphones! This hood! I can’t breathe!”), or you don’t, and then it’s just a whole other, different mess. Well, no longer!
Finally, a hoodie that is your big bass-y headphones new best friend! Created by Betabrand out of San Francisco, their new hoodies are made out of “acoustically transparent fabric” which allows the sounds waves to pass through the hood and straight into your ear holes! Apparently the hoodie was initially designed to allow sound to pass through the hood easily, since it’s made of a similar material to the front of most speakers, so you’d be able to hear stuff even if you have your headphones up.
Another type of Betabrand hoodie will feature built in small headphones – so the time consuming horror of having to remember where you put them is gone forever! – but we will leave it up to you guys whether you think you’re cool enough to wear the big can headphones on the outside or not. (Hint: you’re not. Nobody is.)
