The day I got my Roomba 400 series years ago I have been wondering why Dyson hadn't done this? I wasn't just wondering, I wished Dyson would do it. The uphill running water was great, but James, please get back to the robot work. And he did. Sixteen years is how long Britian's greatest living inventor says he's been working on a Dyson Robotic Vacuum cleaner. 100,000 hours of work; sweat and tears also I imagine, but as ever with Dyson within the R&D, the hard work, test, failure and re-test lay the spark of innovation that makes Dyson different. Sixteen years. It appears, it was worth the wait.

YouTube’s most mysterious star: The Disney Collector

Last BBC 2's flagship current affairs program, Newsnight played out witha feature on the mysterious Disney Collector , an official internet phenomenon. One of the world's most popular YouTube channels, yet all we've seen of this intriguing lady, is her hands. Oh, and her endless stream of toys, which she 'unboxes'. Usually the unboxing craze on YouTube sees excited tech types opening a shiny new iPhone or Samsung box, but Disney Collector gets million of viewers, one assumes mostly children, excited about unwrapping a Kinder Egg. In April it was the third most viewed channel worldwide on YouTube, one week in July it received over 55 million views, more than any other channel on YouTube.
