It can sometimes be a little daunting to go into your local off licence, microbrewery or fancy winery and be greeted with hundreds, if not thousands, of options. More often than not you’ll end up picking something you already know you like, or if you do decide to be adventurous and try something new, there’s a 50/50 chance you’ll end up with something you hate.
That’s where Next Glass comes in! Input some brands of beer and wine that you already like, and using a feature called Genome Cellar, you then scan the new bottle of beer or wine that you’re considering trying out, and Next Glass will give you a comparative score of how likely you are to like it.
On top of that, the app gives you info such as calories, alcohol levels and what brands your friends like (provided they’re using the app too), which will make buying beers and wine for them that much easier!
