Apple has released six new ads for its Apple watch, showing a commitment to bolstering the tiny wearable’s appeal. Each of the ads is fifteen seconds long and showcases a different one-word theme -Ride, Sing, Date, Train, Sprinkle and Cycle – and each showcases a different use for the Apple’s trendy little compact chronometer.
Moving a little further toward the playful and quirky end of the marketing spectrum, these ads also boast a little more pizzazz than the staid and luxurious branding of their previous ads. Not that they could ever completely abandon the higher end of the market, of course, as they just announced a co-op with luxury brand Hermes, or as they put it “a partnership based on parallel thinking, singular vision, and mutual regard”. The upshot being you can get a band for your Apple watch that costs a rather eyewatering EUR1,200.
