First announced at the tail end of 2013, Coin is a small, credit card sized plastic device that stores all your credit card details and information combined, so you no longer need to pack out your wallet with individual cards. Or maybe we’ll just let the inventors explain it better with their pitch video:
There was an immediate reaction to the idea, with tens of thousands of people forking out their hard earned cash to get their hands on Coin, and now it’s finally with us. Sort of.
The beta version has opened up to the first 10,000 customers in America, and once all of the kinks have been worked out (provided there actually are any), then the full release should land at some time in Spring 2015.
