In a development that could eventually give life to something like that scene from Tomorrow Never Dies when Pierce Brosnan escapes from the bad guys in the car park, while driving from the back seat of his car, you can now control your car from your smartwatch!
Firstly, a few clarifications: your car needs to be a Hyundai, and you need to own an Android Smartwatch. If you happen to own both of those things, then you can download Hyundai’s Blue Link App and “control” is all yours. Secondly, that “control” is mostly restricted to the likes of locking and unlocking, starting the engine, beeping the horn and calling for roadside assistance.
So while you can’t actually remote control your car around corners to escape bazooka-holding villains, it shouldn’t be too much longer until you basically can be James Bond!
