That’s right, in an already overloaded, saturated market, of which Netflix is currently the ruler supreme, Sony is not sticking their oar in for a piece of the pie. Confused metaphors aside, not only are the console giants going to make their TV streaming service available via the Playstation 4, but plans are afoot to have it launch before 2014 has come to an end.
That all seems a bit sudden, but we guess Sony know what they’re doing, since the PS4 is currently doing so well in the sales markets when compared to the Xbox One, so it’s probably wise to strike while the iron is hot. They’re apparently in talks with the likes of MTV, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central to show their shows, and all this will be happening alongside PlayStation Now, Sony’s videogame streaming service.
